By Ba Arthur Ntembula After listening to Ask RTSA programme on Zambia National Broadcasting Services (ZNBC) Radio 2 95.7FM this evening about road safety and automated speed cameras, my honest conclusion is that the cameras were prematurely switched on and it seems we are not yet equipped to manage the technology of these cameras. Anomaly 1: engaging Road Development Agency (RDA) for road signage after switching on cameras. Anomaly 2: some cameras don’t read correctly. In a 40mk/hr zone, you are driving at 30km/hr but you still receive a ticket for exceeding the limit. …And this was a common complaint...
