By Derrick Sinjela and Simon Banda Energy Minister Peter Chibwe Kapala has announced a $300 million project to connect Zambia and Tanzania with an interconnector line, enabling the export of excess power from Tanzania. Currently, Zambia faces a 195MW power deficit, with only 200MW being recorded. Ndola Energy is set to add 105MW, and the private sector will be sought to bridge the remaining gap.
