In a strange turn of events, Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) Media Director Dr. Kafula Mubanga has tendered his resignation to party president Mr. Felix Mutati.
Dr. Mubanga shared this in a statement availed to The Scope were he narrated that he decided to step down in order to pursue other political aspirations.
He served in the same capacity for more than two years until today and thanked the party president Mr Felix Mutati who he described as magnanimous for according him the position of Media Director in the party.
He took over the position after the resignation of former media Director Mr Thabo Kawana who is now Permanent Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Information and Media.
Dr. Mubanga thanked the party members who supported him through out the time he served as media director in the party.
“I have stepped down as media director and as a member of MDC, I want to pursue other fronts of my political career”, he disclosed.
