IN order for small scale farmers to appreciate the K110 floor price announced by Food Reserve Agency – FRA as a standard price for 2019/2020 Maize Marketing Season.
The government should support and provide better roads to small scale farmers in Itezhi Itezhi district as they deserve better.
Agriculture has the potential to creation millions of business opportunities for the rural farmers, though currently it is lacking support from the central government.
I urge the private sector to partner with government and work on rural roads, so as to reduce transport cost affecting small scale farmers.
