Johannesburg, 16 March 2017: Kind-hearted celebrities Anele Mdoda, Alex Caige, Amanda Black, Kriya Gangiah, Loot Love, Mack Rapapali, Mmasea Petje, Nadia Nakai, Rozanne Mckenzie, Roger Goode and Sureshnie Rider are demonstrating they are willing to do ANYTHING for a good cause, by getting slimed for charity at NickFest (TicketPro Dome, 25 & 26 March).
The thousands of kids, tweens, teens and their families at Nickelodeon’s second NickFest will have a chance to witness their favourite celebrities get covered head-to-toe in Nickelodeon’s (DStv channel 305) icky, sticky green goo – all to help raise awareness and funds for worthwhile Gauteng medical charity, Surgeons for Little Lives, which aims to uplift the lives of children from less fortunate backgrounds who need life-changing surgery.
Revealing that a percentage of all ticket sales generated at NickFest will go towards “Surgeons for Little Lives”, Chris Torline, Senior Marketing & Digital Director, Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Africa commented, “It’s very heart-warming to see so many well-known faces prepared to join us at NickFest to do something very, very silly in the interests of improving the lives of young children in the Greater Gauteng area!”
NickFest is the biggest and most anticipated kids and family festival of the year, and will be hosted by Minnie Dlamini and Donovan, Jason and Nicholas Goliath, and packed with family friendly activities, including singalongs by favourite Nickelodeon characters Dora & Friends, Paw Patrol and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, plus performances from Shekhinah, Nasty C and Karlien van Jaarsveld, and a special appearance by SpongeBob SquarePants.
NickFest 2017 is brought to you by Nickelodeon (DStv channel 305) in conjunction with Glen21 Entertainment & KinderJoy.
Jacaranda FM is the official radio partner of NickFest 2017.
