Airtime tariff hike worries Lusaka subscribers

By Caesar Sindele The latest airtime adjustments by the mobile network provider Airtel has left Lusaka Residents complaining. Airtel has communicated to its subscribers informing them that effective today January 1, 2017 talk time tariffs will soar following Government’s move to increase Excise Duty. An Airtel subscriber Daniel Mukupa said it is unfortunate that the network provider has decided to adjust prices upwards at a time when the economy is limping. Another subscriber Grace Moyo described increments as the greatest mockery.
