Dr. Richard Silumbe to impose for a 35-year-jail-time on people stealing Zambia’s public funds

As 15 months and two (2) weeks remain ahead of Zambians Voting, Leadership Movement Leader Dr. Richard Silumbe is advocating for a thirty-five year-(35 year) imprisonment with hard labour for anyone found misappropriated public funds in Zambia as it is a heinous crime against society.
With barely, 473 days before Zambia Votes on Thursday 12th August 2021, from today Saturday, 26th April 2020, Dr. Silumbe has told Kwilanzi News Zambia in an interview in Lusaka that the Leadership Movement considers corruption as a ‘Defilement of the State’ stressing that anyone who is found misusing public funds must be mercilessly punished.
Dr. Silumbe says once in power in his Leadership Movement Government, will Fast Track cases of individuals or civil servants and politicians found to have misappropriated public funds, as such omissions deserve a punishment equal to that imposed on a person defiling a child, to deter would be offenders.
