The description of Lilanda market as a very clean market by the Minister of Local Government Hon. Charles Banda when he toured the market this morning, has healed me.
I am thankful to the market leadership for this achievement and I am happy that all the traders have come together for a clean market as we respond to COVID-19.
I wish to take this opportunity to appeal to all the traders in the ward to continue exercising high levels of hygiene and comply with the measures which are aimed at safeguarding the health and wellbeing of both the trader and the customer.
