Southern African Center for the Constructive Resolution of Dispute (SACCORD) Executive Director Boniface Chembe said his organization has a burning desire to look beyond elections by employing methods and mechanisms that will pursue to heighten the degree to which Zambians can contribute in governance.
And SACCORD Board Member Humphrey Elekani said after the August 11 2016 general polls Zambia witnessed political violence which intermittently occurred in different parts hence the reason why there is need for every citizen to be engaged in building and consolidating peace.
Cheembe said SACCORD has recognized the need to have proof based activism on how best it could encourage Zambians to contribute in Zambia’s governance process
