Government pays TAZARA Salary Arrears, brags Frank Museba Tayali
… Chambeshi Railway Bridge and Bombwe Bridge repair ready

FOLLOWING a directive by President Hakainde Sammy Hichilema, Transport and Logistics Minister Frank Museba Tayali is paying salary arrears owed to Tanzania Zambia Railways (TAZARA) employees.
Mr. Tayali is delighted that Government has sourced for funds for the repair works on the damaged Chambeshi Railway Bridge in Kasama, Northern Province and Bombwe Bridge on Mulobezi Railway line in Western Province.
Touring Mpika and Kasama, Tayali assured the employees that the financial woes at TAZARA will end as he had engaged with Finance Minister Dr. Situmbeko Musokotwane for a lasting solution in clearing the back log.
Correctly serving as United Party for National Development (UPND) Chifubu Member of Parliament (MP) in Ndola, Copperbelt Province, Tayali says Government will repair the Chambeshi Railway Bridge at US$1.9 million, works on Bombwe connecting Livingstone and Mulobezi, are estimated to cost US$1.5 million.
