FORUM for Democracy Development (FDD) Vice-President Chifumu Banda says the National Dialogue is an exercise that must be carried out every year to build unity.
State Counsel Banda said the National Dialogue is an opportune time to resolve teething contentious issues caused by politicians who time without number have failed to agree and co-exist.
State Counsel Banda said the National Dialogue must be managed by the Zambia Center for (ZCID) which is created by political players who have knowhow of the root causes of their differences.
The FDD Vice President says the Edith Nawakwi led party has no problem with the Three Church Mother Bodies chairing the National Dialogue, but the facilitators tasked with convening the Indaba must be ZCID.
Banda concluded by pointing out that among the contentious issues to be ironed out during the National Dialogue, but insisted that the subject of reconciliation is largely between the Patriotic Front (PF) and United Party for National Development (UPND).
On her part, FDD Vice Chairperson Chisupa Chipwende says a heart to serve and improve the lives of people and not take away from them.
Chipwende said the FDD want to eliminate corruption and impart citizens with the spirit of unity to live Zambia a better life.
Chipwende said this time around FDD will not afford to stand a watch from the political terrace.
