Zambia’s Nshima Politics
By DERRICK SINJELA Friday, 9th December, 2022
Zambia, or Hakainde Sammy Hichilema (HSH7) faces three major huddles to prosperity; high income Inequality; high poverty and high unemployment!
For HSH7 to win the Thursday, 13th August, 2026 election, the UPND Alliance New Dawn Administration must deliver money in people’s pockets, ameliorate ease poverty and attain these targets through job creation.
Failing to improve economic plight of citizens, inability to eradicate poverty and letting unemployment blossom will act as reason for people to replace Hakainde Hichilema with Socialist Party Zambia President Dr Fred Namakando M’membe.
As stated time without number, UPND maybe a one-term-adminstration on account of the historical duration of previous Governments.
For instance, the United National Independence Party (UNIP) with former First Republican President Dr Kenneth David Buchizya Kaunda was in power for 27-years, the Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) with three leaders; Dr. Frederick Titus Jacob Chiluba, Dr. Levy Patrick Mwanawasa and Dr. Rupiah Bwezani Banda ruled for two decades and lately the Patriotic Front (PF) lads and lasses had three presidents; Michael Chilufya Charles SATA, Dr. Guy Lindsay Scott and Dr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu, ruled for a decade (10 years.
The graph is:
UNIP – 27
MMD – 20
PF – 10
UPND – ? just done ✅
