Her Majesty The Queen met with Prime Minister Boris Johnson face-to-face for the first time since the pandemic began today – and gave a message to her staff that she wanted privacy
The Queen loves family photos and fills her homes with beautiful snaps of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The pictures, many of which haven’t been publicly released, are often on display when she poses for photos while welcoming guests into Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.
But the collection she currently has on display may leave some royal fans disappointed as the Monarch has opted to keep Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s engagement photo off the main table.
She used to have the gorgeous photo in pride of place next to one of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Harry and William in their military uniforms.

But last year she opted to move it back to a table behind and it seems she’s not decided to move it back.
The professional snap, which shows Meghan wearing a baby blue dress and her husband in a smart suit, was on the main table when the Queen asked Boris Johnson to form a government in July 2019.
However by October, when she welcomed High Commissioner for Grenada, Kisha Alexander-Grant, the framed snap had been moved. The visit took place just a few days after Meghan and Harry’s documentary with ITV’s Tom Bradby aired.
In it, Meghan said that nobody every asked if she was okay while Harry confirmed the rumoured rift with his older brother.
A year and a half later, there has been a lot of drama and upset behind palace walls regarding the Sussexes. They quit the royal family in favour of a new life in the US and gave a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
In their chat, they made several shocking claims about The Firm, including allegations that someone asked questions about Archie’s skin colour and that Meghan was denied help for her mental health despite feeling suicidal.
Amid the ongoing drama, it seems the Queen decided to leave her photo display as it was and not move the Sussexes back into the front row.
It could be seen on the back table in official photos released to celebrate the Queen’s first face-to-face Audience with Prime Minister Boris Johnson in Buckingham Palace on Wednesday.
And the positioning of the photos wasn’t the only thing eagle-eyed royal fans spotted in the photo of the Queen and the Tory leader.
