Wezi an acclaimed Zambian female musical super star was in attendance as the Guest Motivational Speaker at the party.
Wezi, who owes her success to s departed grandmother gave a testimony of defiance imploring Youth Reporters to become assertive.
Wezi, managed by elder Sister Faith and her brother Joshua used the platform to share her biography on how she started music, inspiration and motivation.
Youth Reporters heard that Wezi was born in 1992 in Ndola. were she did her primary and secondary school.
Wezi grow up as quiet girl, but from an early life of being an introvert, she is now a voice of the voiceless, bragging that her mission now is to become a Professional Counsellor.
To achieve this mission, Wezi is now studying Humanities at the University of Zambia (UNZA) Great East Road Campus in Lusaka.
“I am a vocal voice of reason but very bad influencer to people around her. Things changed at my tender age when I lost my 9 year-old younger brother. I was 11-years- old then and this traumatizing loss made me realize that nothing works or our existence depends on God’s presence and grace in her lives. That Thursday, my brother never woke and it could have been me or other siblings? Quizzed Wezi, who said breathing is priceless.
During her speech she also explained how she joined the music industry and her first song called “Ambuye” dedicated to her grandmother..Furthermore, wezi surprised people after hearing that they are good friends with Pilato and that he was the one behind Nyimbo Zako video.
Finally, in her conclusion encouraged everyone to believe in themselves and to be assertive and always put God first in everything they do.” www.rainbownewszambia.com /www.derricksinjela.blogspot.com
