By Musonda Chibulu Acting Manager – Public Relations Energy Regulation Board (ERB) The Energy Regulation Board (ERB) has taken enforcement action against six (6) companies for breaching licence conditions and failing to pay outstanding statutory fees. These actions stem from thorough compliance audits and regulatory oversight designed to ensure adherence to the operational standards set out in the Energy Regulation Act. Oryx Energies Limited was fined K240,000 for operating without the necessary construction permits, a violation of Section 22 of the Energy Regulation Act.
