LIVINGSTONE Acting District Commissioner Harriet Kawina has called up on all Zambians to have interest of going to that city and watch the natural wonders that are found there.
She said watching of natural wonders should not be left to the people coming from other countries alone, but Zambians too should embrace it.
Speaking in Livingstone recently Ms Kawina said it is very affordable to be a tourist in Livingstone than people outside that district always perceive.
‘’I wish to called upon all Zambians to have much interest in coming to our city and watch what we have. To be a tourist here is very affordable and very exciting, so people from other parts of this country are free to come and see what we have here,’’ she said.
Livingstone is Zambia’s tourist capital endowed with various natural wonders and different animal and birds spicies that people would always want to watch.
The city has always been a centre of attraction for foreign tourists especially the whites from oversees, hence the Acting district commissioner to call upon even local people to have interest of going there and watch the same natural wonders.
Ms Kawina said Zambians from other cities would ensure to once awhile go to that city with their families and sample all natural wonders that people from other countries watch.
‘’It is gratifying to see our fellow Zambians join the whites to come and watch things like Victoria falls, animals, birds and sleeping in our lodges and hotels which are here. After that they go back their homes with relaxed and fresh minds by so doing they would even be more productive at their work places,’’ she said.
