UNITED Party for National Development (UPND) President Hakainde Hichilema has written to the Health Professions Council of Zambia, complaining that director of health service Dr Msipu Phiri is colluding to take over his health care in prison by force.
According to the letter dated 28th June, 2017 and signed by Hichilema, the UPND leader is worried that Dr Phiri is breaching to his privacy and that his life is in danger.
Hichilema who has so spent 80 days in prison for alleged treason offence said Dr Phiri is insisting on supervising his personal doctors.
