AIRLINK BROADBAND LIMITED TO EXPAND SERVICES ACROSS ZAMBIA IN 2024

Airlink Broadband limited has announced that it will provide 5 government schools with free internet services in 2024 and that it will also facilitate 15 interns from higher learning institution to work at Airlink Broadband limited.
Speaking during the cerebration of 5 years of providing excellence service, Airlink Broadband limited Managing Director Kundan Singh Dalawat also disclosed that his company will this year launch a fiber network starting with Ndola and by July month end they will start connecting their clients.
Mr. Dalawat said by 2025 they should be able to start the role out fiber infrastructure in Lusaka.
Dalawat said as a company they will remain committed to delivering unparalleled internet connection and customer satisfaction as it is an agent of change and catalyst of progress as it have 12,700 customers across zambia.
Meanwhile speaking at the same event,Likando Liywa Data Protection Commissioner who spoke on behalf of the minister of technology and science Felix Mutati said government recognizes the central role that technology plays in fostering economic growth, enhancing education, improving healthcare and ultimately elevating the quality of life for all zambians.
Liywa said in this age, it is important bridging the digital divide between urban and rural areas is imperative as internet connection is not just a luxury but a fundamental right that enables individuals to access information, education, healthcare and economic opportunities.
He added that Airlink Broadband limited has been a key player since it’s establishment five years ago which has demonstrates a commendable commitment to excellence and innovation in providing high quality internet services to both urban and rural areas.
He further said that the dedication to expand connectivity and empowering communities aligns perfectly with governments vision for all digital inclusive zambia.
