PATRIOTIC Front (PF) Member of the Publicity Committee Sunday Chanda says United Party for National Development (UPND) vice president Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba has relegated himself and wants to continue to be a tail of Hakainde Hichilema.
Reacting to Mwamba’s statement that it does not mean that being silent, the opposition political party is weak, Mr. Chanda said the entrepreneur-cum-politician does not want to talk about the convention in the UPND because he always wants to Hichilema’s running mate.
Chanda, a fearless critic of the UPND concurred with a view point by Pastor Danny Pule that most politicians in Zambia are clearly scared to face President Edgar Chagwa Lungu in the 2021 General Elections.
“This fear is making them to oppose President Lungu’s 2021 constitutionally provided presidential bid,” teased Chanda, during a media interactive meeting at Lusaka’s Taj Pamodzi Hotel.
