The Peace Council and the general membership of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Zambia Chapter sends its compliments to the UPND and the Zambian people for exercising their democratic right during the just ended elections and wishes to congratulate the President-elect, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema for becoming Zambia’s
seventh Republican President.

Mr. Hichilema is a member of UPF and the organization has no doubt that he will govern the country based on principles of promoting peace, unity and sustainable development that are also UPF objectives.

UPF urges the President elect to continue preaching peace and encourage the public to desist from violent acts if Zambia is to retain its status as a peaceful nation in the region and beyond.

UPF is a global movement pursuing lasting peace as the realization of harmony, cooperation and prosperity among the members of the human family through the application of moral and spiritual principles.

Good Governance grounded in spiritual and moral principles that highlight unselfish Service, global vision, and cooperation between religious and government leaders, and Human development which includes spiritual development and extends from the individual, to the family, community, society, nation and world.

In the past, we worked with members of parliament and sponsored Peace Cup tournaments in various part of the nation in promoting peace among the youths of Zambia.

And we look forwarding working with your new government.
