“Unveil Your Potential” KANJIPONDELE FOUNDATION LAUNCH

Dear Family, Friends, partners and fans,

On behalf of the Directors, I am pleased to announce the formation and eventually going public of Kanjipondele Foundation!

After years of hard work and dedication by the team led by Dr. Cleopatra Bwalya Kaunda the Executive Director (who was until July, 2020 brand Manager), we are delighted to officially announce the launch of Kanjipondele Foundation on Friday 7th August, 2020.

Kanjipondele is an expression from the Bemba language which translates as “Do it for and by yourself DIFBY;” taking responsibility and pursuing opportunities in one’s journey. With a long-term vision, Kanjipondele’s primary focus is educational support activities to Children and the Youth; nurturing African youths’ dreams through positive thinking programmes to equip them with necessary skills to overcome the many challenges they come across in life.

The objectives include;
I. To be a foundation designed for taping into the founder’s charisma of inspiration to transition from poverty to possibilities; thereby bringing about concrete and genuine change by focusing on empowering tomorrow’s leaders today; ii. To provide opportunities for education to children and youth; skills and talent development to address matters of livelihood; iii. To be a foundation committed to enhance individual responsibilities, harnessing human potential and promoting self-reliance among members of the marginalized populations; iv. To develop network among the stakeholders.
Kanjipondele is a dynamic foundation that needs the support and input of various people with skills, experience, opportunities for volunteers and interns, products, materials and equipment to realise the objectives.

The initial project that the Kanjipondele team have been working on for some time is the WILLING IS WINNING, and I am proud to say we are announcing the launch of the project.

Willing Is Winning project is aimed at encouraging a culture of untapped potential of volunteerism in solving unemployment in Zambia; building and activating human capacities, prepare youths identify opportunities, gain work experience through internship and volunteering platforms.

The trainings under the theme “unveiling the benefits and enhancing the impacts of volunteering in solving unemployment”; will have a brief curriculum that encompasses the values and moral concepts of volunteerism, personal and interpersonal skills, leadership skills, communication skills, vocational, professional and life skills and use of technology to prepare those who are interested in winning.

We therefore seek partnerships with commitment of time to transfer skills, internship and volunteering platforms, operational costs, seed money capital, items including those linked to farm land, property, tailoring, computers and accessories, saloon and barbing, mobile money, handcraft materials, hardware items, baking equipment, website services, and many other to empower the youth as a way of aiding them unveil their potentials.

Donations from as low as K 20 on one off, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis are welcome.

We will gladly appreciate any donation in monetary or material form through the cause as Kanjipondele Foundation provides you with a unique opportunity to:
contribute to the success of the beneficiaries;
serve your community and the nation as a whole; and expand your network and meet people with similar interests.
