Wele’s Kaunda and Mushala book reprint and sales at memorial as an ancestor

WELE’S KAUNDA AND MUSHALA BOOK REPRINT AND SALES AT MEMORIAL
Patrick Wele Foundation established in honour of Patrick Mutondo Wele (1948 – 2019) has since August 2019 North Western Expo reprinted the “Kaunda and Mushala Rebellion – The Untold Story” (ZEPH, 1987, K120, pp 189) that can be obtained from ZEPH or Bookworld or myself ordered through WhatsApp or Facebook or email.
Wele died last year on 12th January, 2019 in Solwezi District, North-Western Province.
A memorial is set for February 2020.
He worked for defunct Multimedia Zambia (MMZ) as Publishing Director for 18 years before retirement.
MMZ on Bishops Road was run and controlled by the Christian Council of Zambia (CCZ) and the Zambia Episcopal Conference (ZEC).
CCZ is now called the Council of Churches in Zambia while ZEC has been renamed as the Zambia Conference of Catholic Bishops (ZCCB).
He also authored “Likumbi Lya Mize Other Luvale Ceremonies” (1993) and “Zambia’s Most Famous Dissidents – From Mushala to Luchembe” (1995) among others.
He also coordinated research and publication of Goodwin Mwangilwa’s “Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula – biography of the ‘Old Lion’ of Zambia” (1982) and “The Kapwepwe Diaries” (1986) that are also set for reprint.
