*………as Brian Mundubile inspects development projects in Mporokoso Constituency, Northern Province
MPOROKOSO Central Member of Parliament (MP) Brian Mundubile is impressed with works on projects being undertaken in his Constituency which he says conform to the 7th National Development Plan (7NDP) the PF government has been following*
Brian Mundubile said in Mporokoso Saturday 4th July 2020 that the works contractors are putting up on projects in his area are a true reflection of the 7NDP’s Development Equality which government is pursuing.
Mr. Mundubile inspected works on the township drainage, ongoing construction of the School of Nursing and the water reticulation project being undertaken to upgrade the water and sanitation system in the township under Chambeshi Water and Sanitation Company (CWSC) expressed happiness that Contractors were adhering to the desired standards in their performance*
He said, in the spirit of alleviating suffering of the people through poverty reduction, the PF government was committed to undertaking development projects in rural areas based on “development inequality ” whereby projects in rural and urban areas are to be of the same quality unlike in past governments where those in rural areas were substandard.
*He hoped that the School of Nursing which has neared completion could be open soon*
*Hon. Mundubile, a Government Chief Whip is optimistic that very soon, the face of Mporokoso district as a whole would change*
Mporokoso School of Nursing only requires an additional classroom block (CRB) and student dormitories and a wall fence as the last phase but it is hoped that the school opens while additional works come later.
*Meanwhile, government is undertaking the construction of an office block for Chambeshi Water and Sanitation Company and the refurbishment of 7kilometres of sewerage system on top of a new water intake and treatment plant*
And the Contractor undertaking construction of the township drainage system has trained 7 youths in construction skills and continues to provide on- job training opportunities to other youths engaged on the project to empower them with the skills.
