Remarks by ACSZ Vice President at the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between ACSZ and MUVI TV
Thank you very much for coming to witness the signing of the MoU between ACSZ and MUVI on the NSHIMA Eating Competition which will be one of our highlights among the arena activities.
On behalf of the society i would like to state that this memorandum is a significant step forward.
The society and MUVI TV have joined efforts in the framework of adding value to the entertainment of this year’s show.
The eating competition is an initiative started by MUVI TV, responds to the community entertainment need that will enhance recreation during the premiere show.
Hence, our partnering with MUVI is a clear testimony of our open hands to cooperation.
In this partnership the society will host the finals of the national competition whereas MUVI will host the provincial competitions.
The society will however endeavor to continue partnering with many other institutions not only to promote the show but our society in general.
We have no doubt that this event will light up the show this year. I encourage the general public to come to the show and witness Zambia’s greatest Nshima Eater. Umwine Nshima indeed.
I also would like to take this opportunity to state that preparations for the 2017 Agricultural and Commercial Show under the theme “Promoting a Green Economy” scheduled for 2nd to 7th August 2017 are progressing well.
We call upon companies and individuals to come and book exhibition spaces now and not to wait for the last minute.
May I also take this opportunity to appeal to our exhibitors to prepare their stands on time as judging will start on Wednesday 2nd August 2017 and may the best exhibitors win.
Thank you and I look forward for continued partnership and enjoy the show.- ACSZ Vice President Mrs Caroline M Silwamba
