Fellow Citizens I wish to inform the nation that I have received the Delimitation Excercise Report From the Electoral Commission of Zambia Chairperson , Judge Esau Chulu. The Report which was presented to me this morning at State House ,covers all Provinces and Districts in Zambia. The need for the delimitation arose because among other things, six districts were created ,hence the need to increase the number of constituencies for better and more effective representation of our people. Critical issues covered include the number of constituencies each district should have. So far 30 copies of the report have been presented...

By Nason Msoni All People’s Congress (APC) President Allowing restricted and confined persons who are ordinarily out of circulation and absent from the economic and political reality of the country to vote is desperation gone too far. Voters usually need to have access to information in order to make well informed choices and this is not the case with inmates. So the legitimate question is on what basis will inmates base their decision to vote? The announcement by the ECZ to allow for prisoners to vote is shocking and a desperate afterthought meant only to benefit the ruling party’s diminishing...

President Donald Trump shattered that tradition Thursday with aggressive remarks that buoyed his allies but dismayed a wide spectrum of faith leaders. “A bipartisan prayer breakfast is the last place one would expect to find political attacks on opponents,” said the Rev. Tom Lambrecht, general manager of the conservative United Methodist magazine Good News. “Our country would benefit from a return to the...

By Maybin Augustine Katungulu   FIRST and foremost, I should state that I have no personal hatred against Andrew Kamanga instead I simply write my thoughts out of concern with what is happening at Football Association of Zambia (FAZ). Certainly, football for many Zambians is like food or a favourite cold beverage which now is being destroyed by some fish individuals who are seeing it as an avenue to make money, since for them every thing is about money. I wish to quickly state that Andrew Kamanga is riding on an extreme greediness to have everything to himself. I have...
