*WE NEED A PROACTIVE AND HOLISTIC NATIONAL RESPONSE ON PRE AND POST SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC IMPACT OF CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC!!*

We may get to what some people may call… It is a Global Crisis! Ni Chi Golobo!!
*The Corona Virus Lock Down will soon DISRUPT GLOBAL ECONOMY… This will be a worst Economic Crisis that may require National Agenda Setting and Develop a response mechanism NOT only securing health response system but also SET Internal Economic Solutions that may Focus on addressing likely economic and social problems that are likely to beset various categories of our population. The poor will be worst affected! We can imagine how the Zambia Lock Down could affect people living in extreme Poverty* … About 42 percent of our population or close to 8,000,000 citizens.
This is the very reason we have a government in place. I wish to urge government, particularly His Excellence President Edgar Chagwa Lungu to lead national rethinking in the midst of looming national economic crisis. *We may imagine a DEGLOBALISATION…* What will be its impact on Zambia as a nation. *We may need to rethink Solutions beyond political devides!!* We will all be affected and this will benefit NO ONE.
*We are an IMPORT driven economic system and the Lock Down in China and some countries in the EU will definitely have an IMPACT on the economy and livelihood of the majority citizens. I propose a NATIONAL INDABA… ON DEGLOBALISATION..* The Corona Virus is likely to drive some level of *DEGLOBALISATION* !!
