President Lungu Promotes Army Choir Vocalist Davies Lombe

President Edgar Chagwa Lungu has with immediate effect promoted Davies Lombe of the Zambia Army Choir from Staff Sergeant to Warrant Officer Class two during the ground ceremony at Maina Soko .

The head of state responded to the Zambia renowned gospel musician Kings Malembe –Malembe’s request when Lombe joined Malembe –Malembe in a collaboration on stage to sing one of his songs praising ‘God’ for his provision” as they were entertaining the people before the president presented the keynote speech.
The miraculous promotion shocked the talented vocalist and service man as it was presented to the Pres

ent to the President of Zambia in form of a light joke , but the President Lungu who happened to be the commander in chief of the armed forces has passion for performing artist and art in general took the issue seriously and promoted the musician instantly.
