Be professional, Hope Musonda prods EPAAZ

A LUSAKA based academician, Ms. Hope Musonda has challenged personal and administrative secretaries to strategically venture into good working practices facilitating general performances.
Ministry of General Education (MoGE) Lusaka Vocational Training College Board Chairperson Ms. Musonda said strategic and good good performances of secretaries and personal administrative cadres had potential of improving institutional status.
Officiating at the Executive and Personal Assistant Association of Zambia (EPAAZ)’s Administrative Professional Day held at Mulungushi International Conference Center in Lusaka, Ms. Musonda observed that without good performances of secretaries’ organizations would hardly attractive general public goodwill.
“I wish to urge you all members of this association that you should always choose to concentrate on good practices to enhance better performances of your organizations in order for you to achieve the goals and objectives of your organizations,” Ms. Musonda, an engineer by profession with experience in public and private sectors said.
And EPAAZ President Diana Kapansa is focusing on empowering members with necessary life-living skills to improve service deliveries.
“Our major objective is encouraging members them to change from the old working culture of secretaries by advancing academic and professional education of administrative officers, executive officers, and administrative assistants,” explained Ms. Kapansa .
The Executive and Personal Assistants Association represents secretaries and administrative officers in Zambia and it held its first Administrative Day in Lusaka under the theme, “Reactivating the Administrative Profession in Zambia”.
