On Friday 9th December, 2016, Zambia joins the rest of the world in
commemorating the UN International Anti – Corruption Day.
This day is binding for commemoration by all State Parties to the
United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC). Zambia is a
State Party to the UNCAC. The Theme for this year is “Corruption: A
Hindrance to the Sustainable Development Goals”
The commemoration of the Day will commence with a March from Civic
Centre at 08:00 hours and end at Hotel Intercontinental which is the
venue of the official commemoration.
You are therefore invited to cover the event. The Guest of Honour is
the Republican Vice President Ms. Inonge Wina.
