Dr. Chitalu Chilufya unviels Kafue General Hospital

ZAMBIA”s youthful Minister for Health Dr Chitalu Chilufya says the elevation of Kafue District Hospital into a General Hospital is empirical evidence that President Edgar Chagwa Lungu is determined to provide excellent services throughout Zambia’s ten provinces namely; Central, Copperbelt, Eastern, Luapula, Lusaka, Muchinga, Northern, North-Western, Southern and Western Provinces.
“We are committed to provide health services in a clean, caring, competent environment, Dr. Chilufya, a medical doctor, and holder of MbcHb, with a wealth of public health experience,”said during the upgrade of Kafue District Hospital into a General Hospital and launch of kafue School of Nursing witnessed by ChildFund acting Country Director, Doras Chirwa on Thursday 10th August 2017 .
Dr Chilufya has worked at all levels of the health care system in government before joining a USAID-funded project, where he supported health systems strengthening. Dr. Chilufya served as Deputy Minister for Health to Health Minister, Dr. Joseph Kasonde, before his appointment to Minister for Health.
Dr Chitalu Chilufya is the Minister for Health in Zambia. He is a medical doctor, holder of MbcHb, with a wealth of public health experience.
