Manyinga Member of Parliament (MP) Robert Lihefu has commended Traditional Leaders in the North-Western Province for coming together to fight any tribal sentiments from people in their respective Chiefdoms.
Mr. Lihefu says there is no space for tribalism in Manyinga and Kabompo districts, adding that people have for a long time lived peacifully as one, adhering to the “One Zambia, One Nation” motto.
There are seven (7) official vernacular languages: Bemba, Nyanja, Lozi, Tonga, Luvale, Lunda, and Kaonde, the latter three being languages of North-Western Province. English is the official language of government and is used for education, commerce, and law.

The North-Western Province Minister equally commended Senior Chief Sikufele and Chief Kalunga of Manyinga and Kabompo districts for coming on board to condemn tribalism.
