UNITED Party for National Development (UPND) Eastern Province Youth leader Lyson Nyirenda says mobilisation tour led by the Youth National Chairperson Gilbert ‘Mosquito’ Liswaniso over ongoing intensfied campaigns in the area.
And Mr. Nyirenda says an election victory for the UPND Alliance is a collective responsibility to be shouldered by all members.
Nyirenda shared to this confidence when Mr. Liswaniso’s National Youth Executive entourage paid a courtesy call at his residence as campaigns ahead of the Thursday 12th August, 2021 election intensify.
“Your mobilisation tour of duty in the Eastern Province is commendable as you have lifted us for what we want tomorrow, which is change for the better. We are part of the liberation struggle and leadership is about sacrifice, which you have shown as our Youth National Chairperson,” an elated Nyirenda acknowledged.

Nyirenda emphasised of the need for UPND Alliance members to love one another and be united nations if President Hakainde Hichilema is to overwhelmingly win the political battle with few days remaining to the polls,” said a delighted Nyirenda.
And Liswaniso restated that the UPND Youth Wing has a huge responsibility to carry a peaceful flag as Ambassadors of president Hakainde Hichilema and UPND Alliance aspirants at P Parliamentary and Local Government level.
A die-hard UPND activist, Liswaniso pointed out that there must be no room of intimidation by the blindfolded Patriotic Front (PF) zealots.
“We have to promote unity of purpose as PF terrorists touch one another yet, all of us are left to trust each other and claim our basic rights and power by force,” implored Liswaniso.

Liswaniso assured the youth leadership in the Eastern Province of more engagement on teething challenges noted with the UPND senior leadership.
The UPND National Youth Wing has since concluded the party’s mobilisation tour in the Eastern Province.
