CHIBUSA is finally on the Bangweulu waters!
(Remember the cruise boat I told you about?)
AND NOW THE NEWS IN DETAIL:
1. CHIBUSA is the name of the new boat (means ‘ FRIEND’
2. It is known as a Catamaran Cruise boat (means it has pontoon features attached) .
3. Measures 15 x 6 meters double deck and 4.2m height
4. Houses a Captains Cabin and a Bar
5. It has 4 toilets
6. Floats on 24 demarcated chambers.
7. It is powered by two Suzuki D150 engines ( total horse power is 300)
8. The loading capacity is 150 happy people!
8. It has free Wifi on board
9. It is solar powered with a generator back-up
10. It was designed and fabricated by Zambians…right here in Samfya
11. So, truly a Zambian Friend ..hence the name ‘ CHIBUSA’
12. Test cruise was on Saturday 6th March, 2021 and Hon. Nickson Chilangwa was there to render his support!
