Zambia’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, His Excellency Emmanuel Mwamba said education presents the biggest life changing opportunity for children.
Speaking when he donated educational materials to Tetekela Day Care and Primary School in Kasama, Northern Province, Mr. Mwamba thanked the Sisters of the Child of Jesus Christ under the Catholic Church for focusing on vulnerable and orphaned children.

He said despite the social conditions of the children, education was one of the tools that would help change their circumstances in life.
He said Government had invested heavily in the educational sector as one of the national transformational goals of President Edgar Chagwa Lungu.
And Sister Angelina, who is part of the management thanked Mr. Mwamba for the gesture and said his donation would go a long way to alleviate the challenges the school faced.
She said they had sent a request to President Edgar Lungu to support the school with a bus.
Mr. Mwamba said he would follow up on the noble request.
