Texila American University Partnered with the Zambia Chamber of Commerce & Industry to facilitate a mentorship program on Finance and Branding for small & medium scale
enterprises on 11th December 2020.
This mentorship focused on providing expert training to small & medium enterprises on the critical components of finance and branding that can propel their businesses in gaining
recognition, trust among customers and manage their finances prudently.
The 1 st session of TAU-ZACCI mentorship program was delivered by Mr. Chibamba Kanyama, a Zambian business leader and writer, specializing in communication strategy and economics.
Mr. Kanyama is a renowned Financial Adviser and Specialist, and he is the current Managing Consultant at Bridges Limited.
This session provided its participants with the knowledge to effectively manage the working capital of a business.
The 2nd session delivered by Mr Mato Shimabale, an award-winning Marketing and Customer Service expert, currently the Head of Marketing and Corporate Relations at ABSA Plc,
highlighted ways to improve marketing strategies with visually appealing techniques.
Not only was the program a huge success, but it also generated excitement and allowed participates to collaborate deeply with mentors to bring greater desirable inclusive knowledge
and practices in the business community in the country.
The TAU-ZACCI partnership seeks to have a huge impact on the lives of small & medium enterprise owners across Zambia by providing them with greater access to scholarship,
development programs and mentorship programs. By joining forces with ZACCI, Texila American University plans to increase support for such initiative nationwide by making them more accessible for all ZACCI Members.
