From the time that Zambia begun the digital migration journey, Muvi TV has grown and adapted to fit the trends sweeping across Africa.
Our flagship programmes such as Banja, Ready For Marriage, Beads & Lipsticks, and of course the Muvi TV news are forever remembered and talked about.

Muvi TV is Zambia’s FIRST PRIVATE COMMERCIAL TV STATION established in 2002. Over the past 15 years we have seen the TV landscape change and we have stayed resilient.
In our quest to ensure the continued growth of the Zambian TV industry – we have recently partnered with other private Zambian TV stations to make their channels available on the Muvi TV platform.

As we launch Muvi TV2 on TopStar, I wish to state very clearly that digital migration has come with some challenges but with other obvious advantages.
The Muvi TV satellite service has been available to many subscribers across the country and now on TopStar, more households can access our rich content and get a taste of our bouquets.

As Muvi TV we take advantage of the fact that more households are now able to connect to a digital signal by way of digital terrestrial transmission (DTT).
The advantage of the public signal distributor is that TV stations no longer need to construct transmission networks to get TV signal into the various towns.
Today’s launch is a celebration of progress.
