Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa, Emmanuel Mwamba started the Monday 6th February 2017 at the Mining Indaba in Capetown meeting Dambisa Moyo, economist, renowned author, and asked her: “You are one of the most sought after speakers at world economic and development conferences. You recently met President Xi Ping of China. How come your contributions to Zambia are muted?”.
She answered: “I was in Zambia the whole of December 2016 to take time to mourn my deoarted sister but also to spend time with my family. Yes sometimes you feel that a prophet is never appreciated in his own town.”
