Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM) Mwewa Besa says a 27th annual conference and Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) themed: ‘Elevate-Innovate-Thrive,’ emphasizing innovation, agility, and strategic thinking,‘ will be held from 21st to 24th May 2024 at the Avani Resort in Livingstone, Southern Province.
Briefing Zambian Media in Lusaka on Monday, 12th February 2023, Mr. Besa explained that the ZIM annual conference, is always preceded by a CSR event.
Launching the 2024 ZIM Indaba, Ms. Lilian Bwalya, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, and Industry (MCTI), emphasized the transformational potential once marketers and business professionals seize the yawning opportunities.
Ms. Yebby Shitima, Chairperson of the organizing committee, highlighted the upcoming ZIM 27th Annual Marketing Conference as a source of valuable insights into navigating the dynamic marketing landscape on an apt conference, theme: ‘Elevate-Innovate-Thrive,’ emphasized innovation, agility, and strategic thinking,” Ms. Shitima explained.
Still on ZIM, Besa is urging all persons with marketing qualifications to register as it is mandatory for all marketers to enlist as members.
“The conference is usually preceded by CSR events and I think similar to a donation made last year in Matero Township, where we donated some desks, there will be a similar arrangement. I can’t tell you at this particular stage, whether it is Lusaka ?or where, though, I would prefer to have it done and in Livingstone. I reccall us visiting an orphanage and I think that was a very touching thing as much bigger things this year will go beyond CSR. The conference will see a lot of engagement with students, as we want to make sure that a platform for students to be recognized for students,for them to interact with professionals and give them the opportunity prosper.
