Draws for the Total Women Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2022 will be held in Cairo, Egypt on Monday 10th May 2021.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will also conduct draws for the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup India 2022 and African Qualifiers FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, Costa Rica 2022.
“We have the pleasure to inform you that the drawing of lots of the following Women’s Competitions will take place on the 10th of May 2021 at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt at 13:00 Cairo local time (11:00 GMT),” read a statement from CAF.
Copper Queens of Zambia
The Copper Queens are currently preparing for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games (to be held in July-August 2021) where they are the sole flag carriers of the African continent.
For the Olympics, Zambia has been drawn in Group F alongside Brazil, Netherlands and China.
Women football has been on the rise in Zambia with a fully-fledged Women’s Super League taking off in the country.
