CHIINDA ENCOURAGES YOUNG PEOPLE TO IDENTIFY LEADERS

…as he hosts Action for Youths Africa.

MUNALI 2021 Parliamentary hopeful Chrispin Chiinda has called on young people to identify good and credible leaders ahead of the 2021 general elections.

Addressing Action for Youths Africa at Chris Mall Lodges on Thursday, Chiinda said the power to choose leaders was in the hands of young people.

He said the young people were the majority in the country and further urged them to unite.

“You need to identify leaders and check what one has done and, or is capable of doing for the community at large.

The power to select the right leaders is in your hands as young people, we all have track records on what we have done for ourselves and the community and the rest is up to you,” he said.

Chiinda pledged commitment towards working with the youths for a better Munali.

“I interacted with the youths in Kamanga and they requested for a soccer tournament. I launched the 2020 Independence soccer tournament in Kamanga compound so that we continue keeping young people busy and away from engaging in bad things,” he added.

And Action for Youths Africa chairperson Dalisani Ngulube said the organization had embarked on among other things, sensitizing fellow young people on the importance of taking part in elections and the governance issues.

Ngulube also said the organization was in the game of encouraging the youths on how to live a productive life.

He added that membership was drawn from youths in learning institutions and others across the country.

The group, before meeting Chiinda did some cleaning in Munali at Kaunda Square stage 1 and 2 markets and later on ended the day with lunch courtesy of Chiinda alias Chris Mall.
