SUPERSPORT the world of Champions this week brings to you Bola Yapa Zed with a mouth watering double header on Saturday, August 26 and Sunday 27th in Lusaka.

Bola Yapa Zed thriller will begin with the World of Champions bringing excitement from Sunset Stadium where Lusaka Dynamos will face Green Eagles in the opening fixture of the day. In the second match, defending Champions Zanaco will be up against Nchanga Rangers.

Lusaka Dynamos seated 4th  on the log with 42 points will play host to the Choma based outfit, Green Eagles. This is a must watch game as the 13th placed Eagles travel to Lusaka to meet league contenders Dynamos. Eagles has 29 points and a win away from home will be a double bonus for the Aggrey Chiyangi tutored lads who not long ago whitewashed Kabwe Warriors 0-3 in another away fixture.

Dynamos on the other hand, are keen to reclaim the top slot they commanded weeks ago. The elite side has 42 points and a win will take them back to the summit of the log. This is a must watch game and Supersport the World of Champions will bring the blow-to-blow drama on SS9. Later in the 15:00 hours games at Sunset Stadium, hosts and league defending champions Zanaco will battle it out against Nchanga Rangers. This game against a team that is fighting to beat the relegation waters will not be a walk in the park for Zanaco. Rangers, lying in the red zone, on 15th position with 22 points will travel to Lusaka with nothing but a win in mind. Zanaco on the other side will have to be at their best to beat the not so ‘Brave’ Nchanga Rangers who so far have only won 4 games. Zanaco has 40 point from 21 games having won 10 and recorded 10 draws. This game will also set a stage for a thrilling encounter curtsey the World of Champions.

And on Sunday, August 27, the excitement moves to the newly refurbished Woodlands Stadium where another double dose of fan awaits soccer enthusiasts. In the lunch hour, at 13H00 action, Green Buffaloes will welcome log leaders Zesco United. Once again, SS9 will be on hand to unleash the details of the punch for punch fixture of the two league giants. Buffaloes are 2nd on the log while Zesco commands the top slot hence this Sunday’s fixture will be nothing but a contest of the best. Separated by just 2 points, the host will not accept to be dehorned at their own turf hence this game will be nothing but one to look forward to.

Buffaloes have 43 points while Zesco have 45 having recorded 12 wins and 13 respectively. This is a final before the final, which most soccer lovers will be looking forward to; a win for either sides will change the outlook of then MTN/FAZ log…missing this game will be at own peril. Later at 15H00‘CITE YAMOTO’ City of Lusaka face Nkana in another exciting fixture. With a fresh wound still staring in their faces having lost 3-1 at home at the hands of Green Buffaloes, Nkana will have to be at their best to beat relegation bound City. Though at the bottom of the log, the Chilenje side will not want to lose another point at the hands of Nkana at home.

With the home fans behind them, City will want to disgrace the legendary side, which so far has not lived up to their famous name. Nkana are seated 6th on the log with 38 points from 24 games.
