Lock Down Update:- People have complied with the directive to remain home; The streets are empty and so far disinfecting of markets has taken place and the health people are on the ground to carry out mass testing.
They are targeting to test around 1, 800 people today (Wednesday 115th April 2020), concentrating in the urban/ centre prone to being high risk. Teams have been dispatched in the various parts of Kafue to do some preliminary tests. Only cases requiring further investigation will be referred to the clinics where other teams are stationed to deal with referred cases. So everyone is to remain home.
I have done my test and wish to urge everyone to cooperate so that we benefit from the exercise and curb the spread of the Covid 19 virus.
