We were here.
We are here.
And we will remain here.
Our spirit never dies.
We are the warriors of Light.
We are the guardians of the Earth.
Our spirit is larger than any one individual, by far.
Today, our sixth Republican President His Excellency Dr Edgar Chagwa LUNGU, guiding the nation, and all humanity, said:
‘Let me tell you that the essence of life is STRUGGLE. When you stop struggling, you are gone So even in opposition [when oppressed and downtrodden], we should [must] struggle and make sure our rights are enjoyed,’
This then is a priceless and timeless rallying cry.
Frederick DOUGLAS, a civil rights activist, with reference to the slavery of the black people in America, and slavery everywhere, issued the following timeless guidance and message of hope:
‘There is no progress without STRUGGLE.’
You see, truth be told, the same struggle that made His Excellency Mr Hakainde HICHILEMA our seventh Republican President is the same struggle that will REMOVE him from office.
The PEOPLE are always on the move. Seeking, ever seeking. They have the POWER.
The people are always seeking their liberty, sovereignty, survival and prosperity. Their struggle never ends. They are ever in pursuit of their restoration to the required God-ordained state of existence, of abundance and plenty.
Freedom.
Their birthright.
The right to self-determination.
Anyone that stands in the way of this timeless and SACROSANCT aspiration of theirs shall be duly done away with, vanquished.
The people quickly ABANDON any individual that they may have initially mistakenly seen as a SAVIOUR but turns out to be a MIRAGE, an illusion, only a fake, a conman.
That is just the way things are. Change is constant.
Inevitable.
Guided by His Excellency Dr Kenneth KAUNDA, our first Republican President, and his band of warriors of Light, gallant, militant and examplary Pan-Africanists, the team that built the continent, I say:
‘Aluta continua! Indeed, THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES! Vitoria è certa!’
We are His vessels.
We fear NOT.
We have Him on our side.
And so the journey continues.
We match on.
So here and now we proclaim:
‘…Never again!
Never shall we be slaves again!
Never shall we allow another man to lord over us, another man to oppress, fool us!
Never again!
Not on our own land!
We may be viewed as poor Africans, but with liberty in our blood, with us living in freedom, that is all the wealth we need! One Zambia one Africa!
Never again!’
The people are now saying:
‘…mufuna ticite chani? Boza munanama. Mitengo muikila. Ndalama kulibe. Nchito kulibe. Ma booths muphwanya. Tizadya chiani? Uyu yeve ativuta…’
Amandla nga wethu!
Nkongono ku banthu!
