The Zambia Anglican Council (ZAC)  bade farewell to former Anglican Diocese of Lusaka Bishop, the late Right Reverend Leonard Jameson Mwenda on Saturday 10th December 2016.
Born on 10th May 1939 in Malawi, the late Mwenda, a serving member of the Law Association Zambia (LAZ) died of cardiac Arrest at Lusaka’s Coptic Hospital last Tuesday 6th December 2016 .

In a sermon during requiem mass at the Anglican Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Lusaka, Archbishop of the Church of the Province of Central Africa, The Most Reverend Albert Chama eulogized the late Mwenda as humble Christian to the bone marrow.
The late retired Bishop Mwenda is survived by a wife, Mrs. Hope Mwenda, five children; three daughters and two sons, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
